One of my favorite parts of this transformation was hearing my client say:
“It makes me wanna go in there and walk because it’s just so clean and empty. I can go in there and worry about nothing, watch TV, and walk.”

Monday thoughts 🌿

As we begin a new week, I’ve been reflecting on how much beauty God invites us to bring into our homes — not just through design, but through the love, peace, and intention we pour into each space.

In my work as a faith-based interior designer, I don’t take it lightly that the home is a place where families grow, pray, rest, and gather. My hope is always to design with that in mind — creating spaces that feel like a reflection of God’s goodness and order.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1

Bringing all the dreamy coastal vibes to this Florida dining nook—and we’re in love! From the soft wood tones to the sculptural table and that fun pop of check underfoot, this space feels fresh, modern, and inviting.

And can we talk about those palms? Not just pretty—they’re a subtle nod to Scripture. In the Bible, palms symbolize peace, triumph, and eternal life. A gentle reminder that even in the smallest details, there’s purpose and beauty rooted in faith.

For me, the mountains have always been a reminder of God’s strength and faithfulness. For others, it might be the sound of ocean waves, the stillness of a forest, the flight of birds, or even the open fields at sunset.
When we design your space, I love encouraging meaningful artwork — the kind that reflects where you feel closest to Him — instead of just filling walls with mass-produced decor. Your home should speak to your heart.

As the seasons change, it’s natural to want to refresh and decorate our homes for the holidays — and Easter is no exception. The pastel bunnies, colorful eggs, and springtime florals are all adorable, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with incorporating those sweet touches!

But as a faith-based designer, I always encourage families to also create space for decor that reflects the deeper meaning behind these celebrations. Easter isn’t just about new beginnings — it’s about The Resurrection. It’s about Christ’s sacrifice and the victory that brings us everlasting hope.

Simple, intentional pieces — like a crown of thorns or a cross woven into your wreath — help anchor our hearts and homes to what matters most.
