So we've had Todd the Toad, Basil Bob, and then this weekend...
Pepper Pete Puckett (the praying mantis). He was on Olivia's bike and she realized it AFTER she took a round.
Mom and Olivia put it on the Moringa Tree. (Mom didn't have her phone out for that, but at the time, Pepper Pete was very happy with it's new living arrangements)
*Sorry I forgot to post until we were talking about Basil Bob tonight.

Hi studio friends, this oil painting is still very new. Oils build upon layers, they evolve…grow and shift with each session. This one’s a pale baby still -its challenging as the dried grasses cover the field and landscape. The cacti will have rusty blooms that will lead the viewers eye thru the melee. Most of what you see here will be peeking from behind the surface.
But I wanted to introduce October’s “child” to you with a challenge… look for beauty this season… and watch out for the snakes!

For those of you homeschooling, we hope to be leaving some tips for one another…. We are building a library for Olivia … weve already found two awesome art books. Amazon had some kid reviews of this one, and we were learning about different drawing tools and crosshatching. We took breaks often and she was humming happily which is a good sign. Follow us for more tips guys there is a artistic generation counting on us.
