Page Tile Design

Page Tile Design In 2010, I joined my late husband, Clint, as a tile subcontractor. As a team, we spent 14 yrs building showers, backsplashes & floors in 500+ new homes.

He was truly an expert and *the best* mentor. I soon shared his love for tile, and it's what I do best

Many thanks to the Lafayette community for voting Page Tile Design a 2025 Neighborhood Fave! Allowing a stranger into your home to perform work or even provide an estimate requires a great amount of trust. I'm honored to have earned that trust, it is truly priceless.

I'm back at a house I did some work on in July (the tile guy left mid-job 😒). It was so good to see the finished product with everything installed!

I cannot take full credit for this shower. I was asked to step in to finish it for a busy handyman. Fortunately, he had a well-laid-out design, waterproofed with my preferred products, and floor mosaics installed. He began setting the wall tile and made it much easier to tie into than my previous project.
It came a long way from it's original fiberglass tub & surround.

Sometimes what seems like a simple tile project can quickly become overwhelming. This is particularly common when doing a remodel. One thing I've told every homeowner, both as a subcontractor, and as a salesperson working out an estimate is: You never know what you're getting in to.
The best laid plans and most well thought out designs may need to change at any moment. This is where patience and the ability to adapt are crucial.
I stepped into this project after an installer became frustrated and decided to not return. The homeowner is a lovely woman who experienced too many setbacks with her remodel, and I was determined to do what I could to make it something she was happy with.
