Not to put down mobile or modular homes but in the past when I heard those words I’d usually think lower quality. They aren’t all built the same. This is only the second one these guys are putting out but to say I was impressed is an understatement. First off the metal skid is way overkill. If that part of the floor doesn’t impress you how about 2x8 floor joist every foot, a lifetime guarantee subfloor, and spray foam insulation under it. They didn’t stop there. They deck the entire attic with that same plywood which also has spray foam insulation underneath. To top it all off they designed a 2x8 16” on center hinged roof that will be lifted once we put the two pieces together. Combine that construction with Hayes’ moving skills and you can’t go wrong!

I doubt I can rent this attachment but does anyone know who I can hire that has one of these? It’s a stump auger.

It’s not official yet but this might have been our longest one day move to date. This house was south of Kaplan and we moved it just east of Livonia at 35’ wide. 7:30am we started the process of getting out the yard without using the driveway, due to a really nice fence, by crossing a huge ditch. 9:00am the house hit the road. It wasn’t until 7:30pm that we arrived at our destination. I can’t say enough about the crew. They showed up early, handled every obstacle they faced with professionalism, and left late because they knew the job needed to get done. Proud of Hayes House Moving and Leveling!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy! This one was moved and put down in Lake Arthur today. All this dry weather has had us moving non stop. Even us house movers are starting to wonder if it’s ever gona rain again. We are taking full advantage of this time though.
