Today, we’re focusing on soil quality. Last year we started our new beds with the most affordable soil, and trust us, that was a mistake. We have now spent more amending the soil than we would have just buying the expensive stuff the first time.

After YEARS of failed carrot harvests, this is what changed everything!

If you’ve been losing your mind trying to grow carrots, this one is for you. The secret is keeping the soil moist right after sowing!! We cover ours with cardboard or an old piece of wood and it actually works. If they dry out even once, it’s game over on your carrot harvest.
