37 years ago, David started making window screens in his backyard in St. Andrews while working a maintenance job at Panama City Beach. He soon quit his job and opened his first storefront on Beck Ave. in St. Andrews. In 1996 he bought property and built the current Oasis Screen and Hardware on Back Beach Road. They expanded to servicing and supplying sliding glass door hardware to nearly all the condos along the beach as well as screening new construction porches mostly along 30A. As of today, we are so excited that Oasis has a new owner and David is in full-time retirement (Lord help me). Seriously, I am so proud of this man who is a true entrepreneur in my book.
