IMSA is coming to VIR on 22-24AUG25. The will be a PCA Corral and Hospitality Tent. Corral passes must be purchased in advance from VIR but the tent is available for free to all Porsche owners. We could use a few more volunteers. The details are in the link.

Join us for Shenandoah Region PCA Richmond Porsche Meet Autocross at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday September 13th on the banked oval!

Come autocross at RIR for the unique experience of running a course on the 3/4 mile, 14 degree banked turns of the NASCAR track!

The course will go down pit road and enter the track in turn 1, go all the way around the track to finish before turn 3, (one and a half laps with a few cones to keep things safe!). RR Track Facilities Map.pdf

Entrants will get at least fIve timed runs.

The day starts EARLY with the first car off at 9:00 AM. We have to finish the last run by 5:00 PM.

The Delaware Region showed up with 20 Porsches at the annual Massey Aerodrome Antique Airplane Fly-In yesterday. Think of it as Cars & Coffee but for really cool old airplanes. A fun day!

Hats off to Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Regions for hosting another very successful Tire Rack Street Survival. I was great to watch the initially timid teenage drivers get on the track early in the morning and then start attacking the driving drills by lunchtime. They left the day better, safer drivers. Thanks to the many volunteers who devoted their time to make it happen!

Thanks to Cole Scrogham for hosting the Zone 2 President's Meeting at the Madison Automotive Apprentice facility in Harrisonburg VA. It is a great facility with some amazing cars. Interns from James Madison University are learning the automotive restoration trade with hands on. Thanks, Cole!
