I had a really fun job come up. Tony Sparkle and I- Joshua David Zehnle- got the opportunity to replace some rotten window sashes around these stained glass windows on a home in the Tower Grove East area. It was challenging and rewarding. We cleaned and reused all of the original hardware and screws. The hinges were made from 1920-1930 by Stanley (Stanley sweethearts) and i assume are original to the house, as were the stained glass windows. We were also able to get the old window weights and hinges moving and working properly to get the windows to operate how they were designed to 100 years ago. I had a lot of fun doing the bridal joints for the window sashes. All made with cedar and painted with oil based trim enamel to ensure longevity.

I had a client call me about soft drywall. A leak on this old exhaust fan and shoddy work turned into a whole wall molded out, and a rotten window frame. She liked the bare brick look. I talked her into putting stained glass in the transom window. It really brightened up her kitchen and gave it a rustic feel. Is your kitchen in need of a little sprucing up? Give me a call.

Ive had a busy summer with work and traveling around. Here is a bathroom i finished recently. This is the first time I had the opportunity to start from scratch and get the walls plumb and do it how I'd like, instead of just working with what was there. Also the first time I had the chance to pick out tile for a client. They loved it. I thought it came out pretty, pretty, pretty good.

I just finished this up for a friend. 12'x30'. All Pressure Treated southern yellow pine. The customers and I are very pleased with how this turned out. All design, permits, and survey done by me.
