A front yard renovation in my own neighborhood!

A recent winter project!

My client wanted a relaxing sitting area with a water feature and lots of texture and color.

This design has multi-season interest with winter hellebore, dwarf fothergilla for amazing fall color, and a Ruby Falls Redbud tree as a standout feature with pink spring blooms and deep purple, heart-shaped leaves summer-fall!

A recent fun project in Woodinville!

I wish I could fast-forward to see everything grown in full and lush like the designs!

We added 2 flagstone pathways, some large rockery including a carved bird bath rock, lots of plants, and beautiful dark mulch that makes the burgundy accents pop and complement the white and black house colors!

I haven't posted in awhile, but this seemed like a worthy opportunity... I just hit 80 sales on Etsy! Most of those were custom designs, but I've just started doing premade design plans as well! I have yet to get less than a 5-star review and feeling pretty proud about that! 😃

It's been fun to connect with people all over the US and help them narrow down ideas for their landscaping projects and to not be so overwhelmed by all the possibilities.

The goal was to reduce the height of these rhododendrons so there is a better view out the window.

Because tip pruning would just cause a flush of new growth at the ends in the spring and create even more obstruction, the best pruning solution was to bring down the height from the inside. It is a multi-year process without dramatic reduction in height, but worth the patience for it to be done right.
