On a happier note our first litter of purebred & pedigreed New Zealands are 6 weeks old and I’m super happy with them so far. They are out of Draven x Story who both have had show careers. A few will be available 🖤.

Hey everyone! After lots of disappointment we are going to be putting the egg stand away and start just doing porch pick ups again for people who message. We can barely sell eggs this year with store prices being so low and we end up throwing out more than we sell (I’m super weird and careful about egg storage). At this point we barely have any friends or family buying them either. With how much quality feed and care costs and how much work we put into our chickens it makes me want to cry when I toss them. It’s such a waste. Thank you for everybody who has supported us, it’s always been my dream to have a little homestead I can share with others so I’m pretty sad to be doing this.

Head up, we will not be stocking duck and quail eggs in the near future. We may at a later date but these are purchased from a friend and I just had 4 dozen quail and a dozen duck not picked up. They’re a lot of maneuvering being from animals we do not currently own and being a “specialty” product they don’t sell consistently enough. We will keep 1-2 dozen chicken at a time in the cooler so if you would need more feel free to send a message and we will put more out! We can gladly put you in contact with our friend who sells quail and duck eggs and will have our own quail again in the future.
