👩🏼‍🍳 Experimenting with some new recipes today! 👩🏼‍🍳 I have a dozen of these individual sourdough cinnamon rolls with butter-vanilla icing up for grabs! 🤤🤤

Today was jam making day # 1. Tried my hand at strawberry jam with no added store bought pectin. Just strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. I contemplated adding an orange peel with the pith for some added natural pectin, but my oranges didn’t look that great. It took lots of simmering, but I made it happen. I think I’ll either add an orange peel next time or go back to Sure-Jell. I don’t know that I have the patience for no pectin. Maybe one day when I’m old and my kids are moved out. 🤣

Wow! 💛 Since I’ve gained over 120 followers in the last 24 hours (which is a lot for my little page of only 251 followers), I thought it would be a good time to reintroduce myself.

My name is Danielle. I live in Lancaster, KY, with my husband, Bradley, and our two little boys, Lucas and Branson. We live on a small farm where we raise a garden and chickens. I’m a former elementary school teacher turned stay-at-home mom, and that is absolutely, without a doubt, where my calling in life is. I love being a wife and mother, caring for our home, raising my babies, and spending time in the kitchen.

It has been a dream of mine for years to open a small farm stand, and this year it’s finally happening! I cannot wait to get my little roadside stand up and running SOON! For now, I am taking limited preorders for baked goods. Hopefully, I’ll also be set up at some farmers markets this summer as well!
