Just a heads up to anyone and everyone planning to camp during the Jackson Civil War Muster, as of right now we have heard there will NOT be a water buffalo at the event.

Water will be available at the spicket near the bathrooms.

This past weekend we lost a pillar of the Michigan Reenacting community. Fred Priebe lost his battle with cancer.

Mr. Priebe had portrayed Abraham Lincoln for decades. Always kind and extremely knowledgeable, he always greeted you with a smile. He was also known for working at Greenfield Village for over 20 years, sharing his knowledge and passion for history with the public.

His wife, Bonnie, passed away a few years ago from her own battle with cancer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with their family as they go through this difficult time.

Hey everyone! Please do not expect any Newletters from now until the foreseeable future. Our civilian coordinator no longer has a functioning computer and she will need some time to purchase a new one which could take a little longer than expected due to Covid being around. Thank you for your patience and support!!

The Jackson Civil War Muster and River of Time have both been cancelled. We hope to resume the season next year folks. Please stay safe and stay healthy. We love and appreciate every single one of you
