Today we are featuring an original salsa-themed artwork created by our team member, Georgia Taylor Saavedra! This yarn painting is inspired by the nierika art of the Huichol people, located in west central Mexico. Traditionally, nierika art is made using beeswax and yarn on a flat board, depicting religious Huichol myths and stories.
