“Listening to the Wild” opens TODAY!!!
and I are bringing California Wilds and GenX Nostalgia to Petaluma’s Usher Gallery.

Yesterday was hanging day at this beautiful space. We walked in and saw this huge white wall and were overwhelmed by the opportunity to fill it with our art.
We took a moment to let it sink in -
that this is big, bold, and beautiful and
that we are doing the work to make it happen
and that there are people out there willing to join us and help make these dreams a reality.

Thank you Rachel, Giuls, and Iris and thank you Teal for being the best ‘Artner’and asking me to create this collaborative exhibit. ❤️

The exhibition will run through Sunday, July 12, 2026.

The public is invited to a celebratory Opening Reception on Saturday, June 13, 2026,

“Rolling in the Green” - 12x12 oil on canvas

The vibrant green and yellow rolling hills of California—every glimpse of these hills fills me with sudden joy and inspiration, sparking an undeniable urge to paint them again and again.

Well, I miss this little blue studio today. We wrapped up last night after a Mother’s Day to remember with more visitors and collectors than the other days!
and I are grateful to everyone who came out to support us in our first open studio adventure. Special thanks to new collectors who took an our art home with them and to our families who helped feed us, take photos, and pack up and run art all over the county.

Special thanks to Teal Collins for sharing her magical studio with me and being the best ‘Artner’ a girl could ask for. So many laughs along the way and cupcakes yesterday!🧁 😁🥰😘.

Follow us and sign up for our our email lists as you will get first looks at new works as well as find out about upcoming shows and exhibits like the one coming up in June!

George Michael died on Christmas Day 2016. After his death it became more public that he was a famously generous philanthropist, known for secret, anonymous donations to individuals and numerous charities, often giving away vast sums, royalties (like from “Jesus to a Child” to Childline), He supported causes like HIV/AIDS, children’s charities (Rainbow Trust, Childline), and provided private concerts and financial help for nurses who cared for his mother, keeping most acts hidden from the public eye.

Michael’s manager stated his rule was, “If the press finds out, I’ll stop,” as he believed true generosity wasn’t about being seen but about impact, transforming lives quietly. ❤️

SOLD - “Excuse Me While I Kiss the Sky”
18x24 oil and spray paint on canvas

My client commissioned a portrait of Jimi after seeing an earlier one I did. She loved this and I was sad to see him go, but happy that he’ll bring joy to his new home in Santa Barbara.

Always a gratifying experience to paint this legend. 🎶❤️🎸
