Lets talk about invasive roots!
In our salty and caliche heavy soil, Ash species tend to have a very shallow root zone. The Raywood Ash (Fraxinus oxycarpa) is no exception. Ash roots can lift concrete, crack asphalt, and damage building foundations. These trees do best in a lawn, away from hardscape and buildings.
Check out these before and after pictures of a Raywood Ash our Arbor Division removed. This tree was causing extensive damage to the utility boxes and the surrounding hardscape. We were able to safely remove the tree and grind out the stump.
