Q. Why is my garage to drafty, to hot or to cold?

The extent of drafts in your garage door(s) can be reduced. Sectional doors and roller doors come complete with a weather resistant strip at the bottom of the door that creates an effective seal to keep wind and leaves outside your garage. An optional extra jamb seal is often installed for sectional garage doors, which also reduces drafts along the sides of the garage door.

To maximize your energy efficiency, consider replacing any garage doors attached to heated living space with an insulated door or installing an insulation kit. This will help keep the temperature stabilized in the garage. An insulated garage door will not only provide an energy-saving airtight seal, but also an effective water seal too.

There are many do-it-yourself garage door insulation kits available to add to an existing overhead door. If you decide to do this, be careful about applying insulation yourself to the door as it may affect the balance and proper operation of your garage door. Question: My garage door is noisy when opening and closing.
Your garage door may be out of balance or the spring(s) may be broken. Close the door and pull the emergency release handle to disconnect the door from the motor track. Open and close the garage door manually. A door that is properly balanced will stay at any point when you lift it due to the spring tension. A door that seems too heavy to lift may have a problem with the springs. Call Company One Services Garage Door Repair to replace your spring adjustment. Do not attempt to adjust the garage door springs yourself as they are under very high tension and can be very dangerous.

Great company that is not only friendly and professional but works with you on the pricing. Just bought my first home and it had an old wooden flip up garage door with an old busted opener. I called Company One Services and they came out the next day to remove the old door and opener, and replaced it with a nice new insulated rolling garage door and new opener.
