Cornice and railing work completed. Closely matched the profiles of the previous cornice in the second photo. Upgraded the old railing system on the flat roof with a custom made railing system.

I very much enjoy this type of work. This is where problem solving skills and attention to detail come into play.

Throwback to the early days of my business when I took on this facade repair and repaint project. I later learned it was located in a historic district, which resulted in a stop-work order.

After submitting color samples, pulling a permit, and paying a small fine, the project moved forward.

Looking back now with years of restoration experience, there are plenty of things I’d approach differently and more efficiently but at the time, I did the best I could to bring this facade back to life.
