I installed a set off attic steps today. Heavy ones!
After cutting the ceiling opening to the required specs and getting the headers in place, my drywall lift and a sheet of plywood came in handy to get them into place.
And remember, small jobs like this one are always welcome.

Completed some second and third story deck surface replacements this week along with new railings on this 45 year old building. 4 feet wide doesn't allow any room for error but thankfully there were no problems.
And remember, small jobs, from a leaking faucet to a new outlet, are always welcome!

Last week I completed this makeover in Latrobe, PA.
Removing the old drop ceilings, paneling and carpet, exposed challenges in getting the dry wall up and so on.
With the addition of LVT flooring and ceiling fans the rooms are now brighter and more comfortable.
Updating the electric to grounded outlets was a big plus for the needs of a modern family.

Till the walls, come tumblin' down,
Till the walls, come rumblin" rumblin".
A big demo project got underway this week as the restoration of this beautiful circa 1840 home has begun. 3 different ceilings, 2 layers of walls and what seemed like a ton of coal dust. The second floor demo alone completely filled a 30 yard roll off box.
Yup, we can do that too.
