We built homes for the largest birds in the area so I figured we should offer ones for the smallest. These houses will be used by wrens and chickadees. This one is unique because it hangs instead of needing to be mounted to a tree post or building. Solid locally sourced oak. With its small size it will fit anywhere. At just $25 these would make a great purchase for any bird lover.

Next in the line up - Wood Duck. Solid hard maple, a side door easy clean out design and a special doorway cut just for them. Its been a tough week with this heat in the shop but we managed to build some Barred owl houses. Made 100% with locally sourced and milled hard maple these will make a great home for baby owls for years to come. Without chemicals once exposed to the sun they will gray over time, allowing them to blend into the forest. At 2' tall these are the largest bird houses i have built.

I did a simple build a few weeks ago. Customer requested 2 plant stands and let me come up with a design. I am posting to show how much goes into even the smallest of projects. We find the tree, harvest it, mill it then stack it up and allow it time to dry. Next its taken into the shop, cut down to size and plained smooth. Thats just to get the board. After that its cut to final dimensions, assembled, sanded and stained. I was really happy with how these turned out and thought I would share.

Free for our customers! The cut offs from the mill have piled up, instead of dumping them in the woods I would like to offer them to any of our customers that enjoy camping or a backyard fire. Its mostly pine and really barky but its dry and would make great marshmallows. Most is 8'in length, pickup truck or trailer required. Send a message and pick some up.

The fastest way to make the mill smell like Christmas is to cut up some Eastern White Pine. Great looking lumber.

Finished up an order for bat houses earlier this week. These 2 chamber oak caves will provide a great home to our little bug eatting friends for years to come. With a French cleat on the back they will be quick and easy to install.
