These new E glass door lites are not only beautiful, but the coating repels solar heat in the summer and retains the home’s heat in the winter. Earlier this week, we replaced a 28 year old garage door opener that bit the dust. After confirming that the problem was the motor, we purchased a new model. The homeowner decided to upgrade to a model with a backup battery, so that he can still open/close his garage door even when the power is out. The customer reported today that the new opener is so much quieter and faster than his old unit.
