Finished this floor yesterday, awesome customer and pretty good floor installer, He's a lawyer and I couldn't lure him away. But he installed the kitchen and part of the hallway, even laced the wood in tight in the hall. Problem was although he took a sample when he bought wood they sold him Red oak the sample was white. Thats the purpose of the walnut and maple transition. It came out nice but we had to tear out the rest of the hallway and replacing it with new Red out. It work out nice!
