Art by Marguerite See my albums! I believe that we are called to worship God with ALL that we are and were made to be.

I hope that each painting is an act of worship that points the viewer to the One who placed the desire and ability to paint within my heart.

Here's one that didn't upload with the rest. "Irises", colored-pencil, 1995.

My last communication said that I would share photos of works of art that I gave my brother, Bruce, and his wife, Joan, over the years. As I attended his funeral in January, I visited his home in California for the first time. Somehow, I've always been far away and hadn't had the opportunity. It was healing to see my artwork on his walls and throughout his house. The photos are not that great (I'm not a photographer), but I hope you enjoy them!

I'm in California, attending my brother, Bruce’s funeral. My niece, Michelle, brought out a drawing that I did for him 43 years ago. He gave it to her this Christmas. It was the first portrait of a person I ever did. It breaks my heart and fills it at the same time. 💔 Bruce, you're going to be missed!

I'll share more paintings and drawings I've done for him and his wife, Joan, later.

This is a collaborative journal that I have been working on. The theme was spending time in the river with God. I meditated/reflected on various rivers from different times in my life and then on rivers important to the person whose journal I am working in. I reflected on the use of living water in Scripture to refer to God's Spirit. I prayed for the journal owner as I worked. This has been a real blessing for me. I hope it will bless the owner of the journal, as well . I have to send it on to Spain for its next installment. And I get to work in another journal and pray as I do.

Finished journal number 2 out of 20.

"Choices". Watercolor, 4.5 x 6.5. For my mother's 90th birthday, people were asked to bring a card. This is my contribution. I painted it from an old photo taken in 1927 or there abouts of my mom and her sister, Elsie. Elsie is trying to go through the gate to escape the yard and Mom is trying to go under the fence. I see this as an illustration of the choices we have in life. We can follow what is laid out before us or create our own path. I did it at 11:30 p.m. the night before our family reunion when I needed to give her the card, so I am sure that I will do this over again in a larger format.
