We are very thankful for word-of-mouth referrals. In today's market big investors are buying up medium and small business and squeezing the family-owned businesses out. This is happening in plenty of industries but currently HVAC businesses are the second leading business being bought by investors.

These investor-owned companies are kind of a second source of referrals we get. What do we mean by that? We have new customers call because they tried the $29.99 Complete Maintenance, no strings attached ad that pops up on commercials. They aren't worth it!!! A company cannot afford to send a technician to your home for $29.99 unless that technician creates more work for that company from the visit.

We will give you yet another example. Investor owned company comes out and tells the customer they have a freon leak and need to replace the 6-year-old unit. They were quoted $24,000.00 to replace the system. The unit was working fine before they showed up. This was a maintenance. The homeowner naturally wanted a second opinion. We go out and there is an apparent and fresh oil stain at the condenser near the access port. We perform a leak search just to verify, and no leaks were found. We added freon back to her system and the unit is running fine!! It appears this company sabotaged her unit.

We live and work in the same communities as our customers. When we make mistakes, we fix them and we take care of the people that support us. We will see you in public, church, ball games, etc. Community and neighbors are important; we rely on each other for daily living. Think twice before calling one of these massive companies owned by folks who will never need to know your name.

Why is it important to get a second opinion?

We had a long-time customer of ours call because he thought his father was being taken advantage of. The AC company he called out to service his unit said he needed an entire new system because the condenser coil is leaking freon, plus all new duct work. The estimate was thousands of dollars!!

We send a tech out to verify what the other company said. When we get there the system just needs to be cleaned and is still under a 10-year manufacturer warranty. The home is less than 10 years old.

Moral of the story, most of the big companies you find on google do not have the customer's best interest. They are sales driven and work off commissions. Most are not trained HVAC technicians; they are taught sales tactics especially on our older generation folks to pressure them into making costly decisions that are not needed.
