So I rebuilt this shed roughly 4 years ago because a tree fell on it. Well during the rough winter we had this year, another tree fell on it. The structure didn't move or get damaged at all. That's the kind of quality build you receive from Build It Better.

Old k**b and tube wiring in a home I worked on today, actually still being used (Yes those white things with the single chord coming off of them are live electrical lines). K**b and tube wiring was used between 1880 and 1930. These are also true 2x4's as well. Lumber came in all types of sizes and had 0 regulation up until 1895. We then began to see 2"×4" lumber or close to it, rough sawn and sent across the country. It wasn't until 1969 the the department of commerce regulated all lumber to be uniform and kiln dried to the 1.5"x3.5" 2x4 that we are accustomed to today. Always interesting to see things like this still in use today.
