The spring is just around the corner ladies and gentleman, make sure to sign up to have your yard aerated. It's one of the many things that you can do to help promote healthy growth and help give it that healthy green look that everybody wants from there yard.
People always ask why should I aerate my lawn? Areas on the lawn that have high traffic become compacted, keeping your yard from growing at its maximum potential. You'll have problems with nutrient absorption, water drainage and good air circulation for roots. Also, earth worms, a beneficial soil helper, can't get established well. There's just no room for movement or air in a compacted lawn. New lawns probably won't need aerating, but established lawns can benefit from a yearly aeration. Not to mention this yearly application is a very reasonable price.
