Our loving Sister Joyce Smith McCreary passed away 09/19/2022 after battling Stage 4 Colon Cancer for the past 4 years. The Cancer went everywhere including her brain so during her last days she suffered numerous Strokes and Seizures which was very difficult for our family to witness. Joyce was very Stubborn and very Strong so she wasn’t just gonna let go because she loves her her family very much. She leaves behind 2 Sons Guy and Jeremy and her Daughter Felicia. She also has lots of siblings 3 Sisters and their Husbands. Janet, Margaret & Miguel, Diane & Tim, 2 Brothers and their wives Mike & Kelly and Tony & Klaudia. Joyce also was preceded in death by Her Mother Patricia, her Husband Guy and her Brother Jim who left behind his Wife Marim. Joyce was also loved by many nieces nephews, one great niece, one great nephew, one Grandson Jayden and Jayden’s Mother Crystal. Joyce was a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, great aunt, grandma, God Mother, Neice, cousin, and she was everyone’s best friend. She was very loving but if you made a mistake she would let you know and she was also the best cook in our family. Growing up She cooked for her whole family for many years and she always took good care of her children and her younger siblings her whole life. She was such a good cook that she had a dream to open a catering business because she wanted to share her delicious food with everyone. If you were ever invited over for dinner to Joyce’s house you were not going home hungry that night. She loved the simple life and did the best she could with what she had in life. Joyce loved writing down everything weather it was her dinner plans for the month or a schedule of the household duties that needed to be done. Her house was lived in but it was always clean and she loved God. We all know that Joyce is in heaven with her Mom Patricia, Husband Guy and her Brother Jim. We can all be at peace knowing that Joyce is happy and she is no longer in pain from Cancer. In her last days she was surrounded by her loving family just the way she would have wanted it and she went peacefully. We all believe that Joyce loved having her loved ones around her in her last days. Joyce was a good humble person and she deserves a big celebration of her life so that all her family & friends can get together to talk about all the good times they all had with Joyce to lift each other up. So with everyone’s help we will be able to give her the proper send off fit for a Queen like she truly deserves.
