We enjoyed celebrating the Long Beach Public Library's Summer Reading them, "Color Our World" on June 25 with a special storytelling session and two art projects. We read, "The Mixed-Up Chameleon" and we created colorful wildflower seed balls and reptile sticker-art pictures. The children went home excited to display their picture and plant their seed balls into a new garden at home! We are thankful to Miss Renee, the Long Beach children's librarian, for sharing her summer reading club time with us, and we are looking forward to next summer's reading theme!
