This is a 2 piece wall panel comparison example we displayed at **pexpo! On one side there is a “traditional” wall segment that contains over 12 materials including: pressure treated lumber, exterior sheeting OSB, fiberglass insulation, spray foam, house wrap, v***r barrier, drywall, drywall texture, drywall tape, primer, paint, exterior siding, nails, staples and more! None of these materials are eco friendly and contain VOCs (volatile organic compounds) which off gas into your home creating a toxic environment to live in.
Furthermore, most of these materials will end up in a landfill.
On the h**p panel segment you have ~7 layers all of which are recyclable or biodegradable. These materials are prefabricated h**p panel interior and exterior, render /plaster interior and exterior, **pwool insulation from **pitecture , timber framing, and interior trim and screws. These materials are considered carbon neutral or carbon negative meaning that the amount of carbon sequestered during the growing process of the h**p outweighs the amount of carbon emitted during processing and handling these materials. The lime binder also absorbs atmospheric CO2 as it dries and cures.
