Had the best time this past Sunday with Belinda creating two stunning moss walls 🌿✨

Belinda chose to make her own custom frame for the class (which we love), and honestly… she absolutely crushed it with that deep wood stain. Such a beautiful, intentional piece - and now it gets to live in her home as a true statement.

Fun fact: you can totally make your own frame to class if you want to create something custom 👀 We typically build the frames for you (and yes… they’re large, statement-worthy pieces - not tiny crafts), but we love when people make their own. DM us for more info on that one. 💚

Also, working with different mosses is half the magic. We use four different reindeer mosses (which, fun fact, isn’t actually moss - it’s a lichen! It doesn’t need soil and stays soft + vibrant for years), along with mood moss and sheet moss to create depth, texture, and movement across the piece.

Every wall truly turns out completely different, and that’s what makes this class so fun and unique.

So please, join us for our next moss wall class on June 14 🌿 Sign up at the link in bio or head to laplantclub.com. See you soon, plant people!

We had a great time curating and replenishing some plants for !! She reached out to us for a little plant TLC, and we were more than happy to help! 💚

We stocked her space with fresh greenery including satin pothos, pilea peperomioides, lavender, kangaroo ferns, and more (not all pictured 🌱). We also refreshed her larger money trees with brand-new pots and nutrient-rich substrate- bringing them back to life and giving them that “just moved in” glow.

I’ll admit, I started taking tons of photos at the beginning, but once we got into the groove of pruning, potting, and styling, I put the phone down and didn’t touch it again. By the end, her home was transformed into a lush indoor oasis.

✨ So what do we offer:
✔️ Plant maintenance & repotting
✔️ Substrate refresh & soil amendments
✔️ Curated plant selection tailored to your home
✔️ Styling & placement to elevate your space

If your plants need some love- or if you’re ready to bring new greenery into your home - we’d love to help! Send us a DM to schedule a consultation. We’ll assess your space, make plant suggestions, and transform your home into a thriving green sanctuary. 🌱

These are the books I use when I teach my classes! I get asked often if there are any resources for understanding and I guide people to these books.

The first one is a book related to and is a fundamental feature in Japanese culture as well in the making/production of . This short book is incredibly meaningful in its essence, revolving around the acceptance of transience and imperfection. We talk about this through the class as we fumble through dirt, make mistakes and redefine what “beauty” is within western standards. I love this book and refer back to it often, not only within my classes but my own life.

The second book is “Hanging Kokedama” by Coraleigh Parker. I use this to show how your plants can be displayed in your home after you make them. Often times, people don’t know that kokedama are best displayed when hung in the air. They end up looking like brilliant art installations and this book provides a great resource to not only display how to showcase them, but how to tend to them. Highly recommend. 🌱

If you’re interested in taking a class, DM me. Happy planting, ladies and gents. Xo 🌱

This is the kind of plant that makes me fall in love with plants. Her name is calathea ornata, aka - named for its ornate foliage. It’s dark green leaves with pink whitish stripes provide a beautiful contrast that continually make me stop in my tracks.

The ornata is also part of the prayer plant family, meaning the leaves rise and lower in response to sunlight changes. During this fascinating display of movement, the plant then prominently shows off the purpleish magenta undersides showing two sides to its waxing beauty. 🌟
