It sure is a large world with cities just getting bigger and bigger. Students will learn more in a school garden than just gardening~ We promise!

They will learn where vegetables come from.They will experience growing vegetables without chemicals and/or organically. They can learn that transporting vegetables across several states uses lots of non- renewable resource.
They will taste the fresh vegetables (in some cases this will be a first). They will have a chance to cook with the fresh vegetables they grow!!!

A Woolly School Garden (WSG) is everything a school needs to create an outdoor garden classroom and begin teaching gardening and nutrition! Woolly School Gardens use any sunny wall or fence to create a vertical edible garden, and the user-friendly curriculum allows teachers to easily teach their students how to grow their own food and make healthy food choices.

FarmFresh2U approached and told us how they would like to place a program in their local schools between their business and ours. FarmFresh2U.us is a “Food-Hub” or an on-line virtual grocery store. They carry only organic, non-gmo and grass-fed. They have designed a program to help schools fund their very own school garden and for everyone to have those healthy meals at home, as well. FarmFresh2U will sign up schools with Woolly Pocket and creat a code on their on-line virtual grocery store. Parents, teachers, school staff, or anyone that purchases under a school’s code at FarmFresh2U.us will receive a discount on their order and it will add money to that school’s garden fund. When the amount needed to purchase the garden is reached FarmFresh2U will contact Woolly Pocket and have the whole Woolly School Garden Kit sent to the school.
