Old Fashioned Cake Donuts 🍩✨

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
In another bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fill each donut well about 2/3 full.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Ingredients:

1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
12 small potatoes, diced (or as many as you like)
1 can cream soup (any kind)
3/4 cup milk (or a mix of water and sour cream)
Salt, pepper, and preferred seasonings to taste
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)

Directions:

In a large pan over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
Add the diced potatoes to the pan and stir occasionally until tender.

4 eggs

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Creamy Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon lemon juice

• ½ cup granulated sugar 🍚
• 2 large eggs 🥚
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 🍦
• 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 🌾
• 1 teaspoon baking soda 🧁
• ½ teaspoon salt 🧂
• 1 cup chocolate chips 🍫
• 1 cup M&M candies 🍬
Directions:
1- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
5- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6- Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the M&M candies.
7- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Half of the chicken
2.5 tbsp soy sauce
2.5 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tbsp five-spice powder
1/2 tsp white pepper
Sesame seeds (optional)
🍂Instructions:
1.Marinate the chicken:
Combine soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sugar, garlic, five-spice powder, and white pepper in a bowl.
Add the chicken thighs and coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for better flavor.
2.Cook the chicken:
🏵️Air fryer method:
Place the chicken in the air fryer, skin side facing up.
Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
🏵️Oven method:
Place the chicken on a baking sheet, skin side facing up.
Bake at 420°F (220°C) for 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
🏵️Stovetop method:
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Pour in the marinade and reduce heat to low-medium.
Cover and simmer for 7 minutes.
Flip the chicken, cover, and simmer for another 7 minutes.
Flip again so the skin is up and baste with the sauce.

💕😊Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream💕😋
Ingredients:
2 cups (480ml) heavy cream
1 cup (240ml) whole milk
¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
1 vanilla bean (or 2 tsp pure vanilla extract)
4 large egg yolks
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Prepare the Vanilla Mixture:
In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and half of the sugar.
Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Add both the seeds and the pod to the saucepan. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to steam (do not boil).
Whisk the Egg Yolks:
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the remaining sugar and salt until the mixture is pale and creamy.
Temper the Eggs:
Slowly pour a small amount of the warm cream mixture into the egg yolks while whisking constantly. This prevents the yolks from curdling.
Gradually add the tempered yolks back into the saucepan with the cream mixture.
Cook the Custard:
Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon (170–175°F or 77–80°C).
Remove from heat and strain the custard through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the vanilla pod and any lumps.
Chill the Custard:
Let the custard cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best flavor.
Churn the Ice Cream:
Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until thick and creamy.
Freeze and Serve:
Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy the rich, homemade vanilla goodness!
Tips:
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
