One of our favorite things about seeing customer photos is realizing that the same purpose can look completely different from one home to another.

Some pieces begin long before they ever enter a home.

This live-edge slab started as raw material shaped slowly by nature itself. Every curve, grain movement, and organic edge already carried a sense of character that couldn’t be replicated or manufactured twice.

Our role was never to erase that story. Only to refine it carefully by hand and let it become something even more intentional.

Then came the Wavea base.

Four flowing steel arches rising upward in a form that mirrors the natural movement above it. Sculptural, balanced, and grounded at the same time. Instead of competing with the wood, the base feels like an extension of it, echoing the same rhythm and softness through steel.

And that’s when the piece stopped feeling like separate materials assembled together. The flowing lines of the live edge. The movement of the steel below. The balance between weight, texture, and form. Everything begins to feel connected.

What began as an unfinished space: exposed textures, construction dust, empty corners; slowly became something calmer, warmer, more intentional.

Floor-to-ceiling glass now fills the home with natural light throughout the day, letting every material breathe softly within the space. Shadows shift across the walls. Reflections move gently through the room. And everything starts to feel connected.
