Leimert Park is known for its welcoming landscapes and bountiful tree-lined streets amidst beautiful architecture. Beauty and pride in ownership is the impetus behind the development of the Leimert Park Garden Tour, which is meant to inspire and showcase gardens in a purposeful way. Spearheaded by an organizing committee comprised of neighborhood residents and community volunteers, and in partners

Know a stunning, soulful, or one-of-a-kind garden in Leimert Park? Maybe it’s yours… maybe it’s your neighbor’s. We’re now accepting nominations for featured homes on the next biennial Leimert Park Garden Tour in May 2027! 🏡✨

We’re looking for gardens that are:
🌱 Located in Leimert Park (between Crenshaw & Roxton / 4th and Obama & Vernon)
🌼 Unique, inspiring, or creatively designed
🧹 Tidy, presentable, and visitor-ready

A little LA rain didn’t stop us—it only made the gardens greener and the conversations cozier. ☔💚

We came together to explore beautiful public and private spaces, connect with neighbors old and new, and celebrate what it means to live, grow, and thrive in South LA. From native plant habitats and fire pits to before-and-after garden makeovers, this year's tour was full of surprises and inspiration.

SAT Sneak Peak: Beautiful Bounty | The Degnan Micro-Farm, staffed by Crop Swap LA members, welcomes ticketed tour guests a close-up look at the prolific produce beds adorning the front yard. They'll also get an opportunity to view the backyard's unique solar powered irrigation system using recycled rainwater. Crop Swap LA provides valuable information and resources for growing produce in urban settings and offers local subscribers healthy micro-farm grown produce to residents in need (there's currently a waitlist.)
