Last night we traded blueprints for golf clubs and took the Louvered Outdoor crew to Top Golf. 🏌️

Building outdoor living spaces is what we do every day. But building a team worth showing up for? That’s the real work. And I’m thankful for every person on this one.

These are the people behind every project, every phone call, every detail that makes your backyard something worth coming home to. They deserve a night out, and honestly, they deserve a whole lot more than that.

September is here. And while everyone else is heading back inside, our clients are just getting started.

What a night. We had the privilege of sponsoring local architects at the AIA Kentucky social inside the University of Kentucky Gray Design Building in Lexington, and the energy in the room was something special.

If you haven’t been inside this building, put it on your list. A century old to***co warehouse transformed into the home of UK’s College of Design. Open studios, exposed timber columns, original hardwood floors, and industrial details around every corner. It’s one of the best examples of adaptive reuse in the state and the perfect backdrop for a room full of architects.

To every architect who came out and spent the evening with us... thank you. The conversations, the connections, and the shared passion for great design made it all worthwhile.

From old deck to outdoor living room.

This backyard started with a worn-out deck that wasn’t doing this home any favors. Now? A full outdoor living space with a louvered pergola, gas fireplace, motorized screens, and a stone seating area built for gathering.

The louvers give you full control over sun and shade. The motorized screens drop down to block wind and bugs when you want to close things in. And the stone and concrete finishes were chosen to complement the home’s brick exterior. Every detail was intentional.
