This is our friends house we renovated a few years ago. She recently put it up for sale. A Realtor showed it and fell in love with it. So the Realtor had it featured on this YouTube show. Here is the video. I designed the Kitchen and other various features, like the window for a skylight in the powder room. This was one of my favorite projects!Enjoy!

Got the steps to a good stopping point yesterday. Ran out of daylight and it started raining! Little more stucco and some paint needed.

Day two begins! Thanks to the considerate driver who did this! Our friend was notified while she was out of town that a car took out her front steps! What a welcome home greeting! Did the hard part yesterday, now it's time to make it look pretty!

How about a little window repair. Someone was extra special nice and broke out three window panes. Replaced missing window mullion and installed laminated glass for extra safety.

Finished up a fun little bathroom and laundry room project today. We gutted and created a new layout. As usual what looked simple ends up with us having to rebuild everything. With these old New Orleans houses, you never know what you are gonna find, so many bad repairs done over the years by less than skilled people.

Finishing up a Sunday Funday, well not really that much fun. Finished putting down the kitchen tile. For those a little OCD like I am, it took me two hours sorting through every box to find tiles with the grain that lined up for each row. I will grout towards the end of the project so it doesn't get dirty. Tomorrow the fun actually begins. Installing the cabinets!
