Another leak located and repaired before it could become a bigger problem.

Our crew mobilized on-site, safely exposed the existing water service line, identified the source of the leak, installed a new 1" compression isolation valve for easier future operation, and completed all necessary repairs to restore full water pressure to the home.

After repairs were completed, the excavation was backfilled, compacted, and graded to closely match existing conditions. Final testing confirmed no leaks and no meter movement at the time of service.

When critical irrigation infrastructure fails, fast and professional repairs matter. 💧

For this project, our team replaced an inoperable 2” brass isolation valve that controlled a neighborhood green belt irrigation system. With the valve located nearly 6 feet below grade, the project required careful utility coordination, excavation, copper pipe prep, installation of a brand new brass valve, and restoration of the entire system back to full operation.

We also installed a new vertical access point to make future operation and maintenance easier moving forward.

Nope, that's definitely not normal! That’s polybutylene, also known as PB pipe. It was commonly installed in homes from the late 1970s through the mid-1990s because it was inexpensive and easy to install. Over time, it became known for premature failures, cracking, and unexpected leaks, especially here in Colorado with changing temperatures and water conditions.
