This Monument serves as placement of critical electrical and communication controls as well as and entrance wall with the Villages sign on it. Balcony decks left unsealed will allow water to infiltrate the concrete, causing the structural rebar to corrode, expand and crack and spall the concrete. This leads to structural failure and big repair bills. Our suggestion: Apply a waterproofing membrane or waterproofing topping to the walk deck surface.

A little water intrusion unnoticed is going to cause a bit of work to repair the termite damage. All this was precipitated by the caulking failure around the windows.
