Apple users rejoice! I got the app on the android app store and decided I hate working with app stores, so i created a mobile app that you can download from a website and bypasses all that. Works exactly the same, but also on computers now.

I'm not a professional developer so the Android play store is confusing - it should have been publicly available for several days now, but it isn't.

For that and other reasons, I've pivoted to a different app development that will allow android/iphone users to both use along with computers users. It will function the exact same and I won't have to deal with the approval and beauracracy of play stores anymore for speedy changes and improvements.

Slight dissappointment since i had a lot put into the android app, but all the work is being transferred and rewritten into the new format and should operate the exact same.

Update is in the app store now.. Had some problems with google approving it. about 1 week till it goes live in the app store. The app now allows you to track sales as well. not useful for most of us but thought it was an interesting concept. If you propagate cuttings, it will tracks sales to the mother tree too.

Another huge update tonight. Sales tools are coming to track parent and children for those who like that. Those metrics can be turned off if not.

More than 40 dragon fruit varieties have been added and researched for accuracy.

Something broke on adding new trees that I did not catch. It won't allow you to type in the species/cultivar fields currently. Hot fix tomorrow.

The climate fingerprint was a good idea, however I need feedback from people outisde the US. I'm not sure the complexity of this is worth pursuing just for Bloom estimates and we may just end up using a manual initial entry and bloom-learning - which i think is the best feature long term:

Once a user logs a bloom event enough times for a cultivar or species, it will override the engine for that species for that user moving forward.

Big update tonight!

-Allows coordinate inputs and fine tuning for one-time climate and location fingerprint for the bloom forecast engine. This will also affect everything new added in the plant catalog going forward
-Plant catalog has improved structure for scaling thousands of new species in the future
-As the plant catalog grows, this will help auto-map plants across the globe to track blooming, but we also introduced Bloom Learning. Once a user logs a bloom event enough times, it will override the engine for that species for that user moving forward.
-Subtle UI improvements to remove redundant information and noise.

As a reminder, users aren't limited to what's in the plant catalog, it just auto-maps certain known details about the plants it has.. typical bloom/fruiting dates for example.

12 days away from going live... unless Google throws another curve ball at me.

I don't know the full potential for this, but I see a future where I can sell a dragon fruit cutting and pull up the plant details to show stored pictures of the mature vine and fruit/cut open, how often it bloomed/fruited seasonally vs total.
