This is a 1960s Yale & Towne USG-3 D224 pin and tumbler padlock. Yale Company had strict standards which is why this 1960s Yale lock functions just about the same as a new Yale lock. The company started in Stamford, CT. and has since been bought in 2023. The company headquarters is now in Sweden 🇸🇪. Boy oh bot I can't wait to get ahold of an 1800s Yale Company lock! Yale is one of the oldest lock companies in the United States of America--Eagle is older. Yale has a rich history and quality locks.
