This mid-century refresh is proof that a remodel doesn’t have to mean a full gut.🩷

For this project, we reworked the fireplace to create a stronger focal point in the room, adding new tile and a custom mantel while keeping the existing fireplace insert and TV. The new fireplace layout also inspired a new furniture arrangement, using the homeowners’ existing pieces in a way that made the room feel more intentional and connected.

From there, we layered in new artwork to bring color and personality to the walls, added can lighting and chandeliers for a brighter feel, and painted nearly the entire first level a light beige to let the artwork’s colors shine.

The built-ins received a refresh, too, with a mix of new decor and greenery that complemented the homeowners’ existing pieces.

This home office was ready for a refresh, and a few thoughtful changes made all the difference.

We traded the saturated blue-purple walls for a warm white, but kept a nod to the original color by repainting the bookcases and replacing the shelves in a moody blue finish bringing out just the right amount of contrast.💙

A custom wood desk now fits perfectly between the bookcases, paired with a cognac leather chair for a warm, timeless touch. Across the room, custom cabinetry and floating shelves were designed to house the client’s existing speakers while cleverly tucking away the printer.

Then came the layers that make the space feel complete: a hand-looped wool rug, soft Roman shades, and sculptural lighting that adds a little personality overhead.✨

Fresh, functional, and still full of that midcentury charm.

A selections meeting like no other ✨

Lead Designer Isabel and Junior Designer Rachel recently took to the skies to present to our clients in San Francisco, CA! We are always grateful to be able to meet with clients face to face, whether that’s in our hometown of Madison, WI or a plane ride away. The benefits of seeing the colors and feeling the fabrics in person cannot be beat.

After an amazing trip and meeting, Isabel and Rachel are hard at work with refining all selections! Our strong communication and project management make this all possible, for clients from Florida to California.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved office companion and dear friend, Bellini Alesandrini.🩷

Since Sprinkman Design started, Bellini has been a familiar and joyful presence around the office. She had a special way of bringing comfort, happiness, and warmth to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Whether she was greeting guests, keeping us company throughout the workday, or simply being her sweet self, she quickly became more than just an office dog. She was a friend to all of us.

After more than ten wonderful years, Bellini leaves behind countless memories, endless smiles, and a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She was a beautiful reminder of the unconditional love animals bring into our lives and helped show the world the true, loving nature of pitties through every wag, cuddle, and joyful moment she shared.

She was deeply loved by Mary (her amazing Mamma), her family, and our entire Sprinkman team.

Though Bellini may no longer be with us, her story isn’t over. If you’d like to celebrate her life, look back on some of her favorite memories, and follow along with what’s next for Mary’s furry family, be sure to follow . We know Bellini would want all the love to be shared with the next lucky rescue who finds their way into Mary’s heart.

Thank you, Bellini, for sharing your beautiful heart with all of us. You made our office a happier place simply by being in it, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts. 🩷🐾

A behind the scenes peek at a project we’ll be highlighting soon. 👀

An off-center fireplace and dated mantel made it difficult for the family to arrange their furniture in a way that felt comfortable and functional. With table lamps serving as the primary light source, the living and dining areas also lacked the layered lighting needed to fully support the way the family uses the space.

Through thoughtful planning, a reimagined focal point, and a comprehensive lighting plan, this home has now become a space that feels both beautiful and functional.

Introducing Obsidian Edit 🖤✨

A full-home transformation that reimagined each space with richer contrast, layered texture, and a sense of warmth throughout.

From custom millwork and moody materials to curated furnishings and thoughtful detailing, every update was designed to make the home feel both elevated and inviting.
