Another backyard transformation officially underway in Spring! 🚧

Today was more than just dig day. We removed an existing wood deck, cleared trees, and started excavation on what will become a completely transformed outdoor living space.

This project will feature a freeform pool with a natural rock waterfall, raised wall with sheer descents, raised spa, and a new covered patio.

One of the advantages of building with Thompson Custom Pools is that we can handle the entire project from start to finish. Demo, pool, spa, water features, structures, decking and the details that bring it all together — one team, one project, one finished backyard.

Can’t wait to watch this one come to life!

What a week! 🙌 Another beautiful backyard is officially headed to construction. Our 4th new project this week and 5th since last Thursday!

This one is coming to Cross Creek Ranch in Fulshear, TX. We designed a custom pool and spa with a unique shape specifically to maximize a tighter backyard and make the most of every bit of available space.

One of our favorite parts of custom pool design is figuring out how to create something beautiful and functional when the space doesn’t necessarily make it easy. You don’t need a massive backyard to create an incredible outdoor space!

Our third contract this week is for this gorgeous Cypress property. A modern, clean-lined pool and spa with travertine decking and turf inlays, all designed to flow beautifully with the stunning patio.

September is off to a strong start with another custom pool officially under contract in Pinehurst, TX! 🎉

This geometric pool and spa will be positioned away from the home, creating a true backyard destination. The design features a raised wall with three scuppers, multiple seating areas, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the water.

We’re excited to bring this one to life!

✨ NEW POOL COMING TO CONROE! ✨

This unique backyard called for a custom approach! We designed the pool’s shape around the property lines to maximize every inch of available space and packed it with features:

💦 Spa with a tiered spillway
💦 Large sunshelf with bubblers
💦 Plenty of built-in bench seating
💦 Raised wall with sheer descent water features
🔥 Fully equipped outdoor kitchen

This is exactly why we call them custom pools. The shape may be unique, but every angle was designed with a purpose. We will even be removing a few trees, because when we say turn key, we mean it. We can’t wait to bring this backyard to life!

🔥 SIGNED IN CYPRESS! 🔥

This backyard is about to be completely transformed.

This custom project features a 42’ pool with a reverse negative edge, raised spa with dual sheer descents, and bench seating wrapping all the way around the pool.

And we’re not stopping at the water. Travertine decking, an intimate fire pit area, and a new covered patio with a gorgeous tongue-and-groove ceiling will bring the entire backyard together.

This is going to be one of those projects you’ll want to follow from dig day to the final reveal. 👀

Spray deck day in Montgomery, TX!

A great pool deck starts long before the color goes down. We scrape away the vegetation, properly compact the soil, install rebar, and pour the correct PSI concrete to create a solid structural base.

Then comes the spray deck. That’s where we add the color and texture that finishes the space and ties the entire backyard together.

Because nobody wants their brand-new pool deck looking like their driveway.

The pretty part is important, but what’s underneath it matters even more.
