Hybrid between P. elephantotis x andinum. ‘Elemaria’

This is another old Staghorn. It’s been around for years. Once thought to be an hybrid of elephantotis x stemaria but DNA showed it to be andinum not stemaria.

Beautiful plant. It has not set it shield fronds yet for this season.

P stemaria HG317.

It got its cultvar name because it came frin Barbara Joe Hoshisaki home gardens She did not want it named after her, so it Hoshisaki Gardens and the number associated with it in her fern logs HG 317

Hi everyone.

Well, I did not set this up the way I intended. I wanted it to be just a groups page and this ended up like a business page. Let’s try it for a few days unless someone knows how to switch it over. Google told me how, but I could not make it work.

Thank you!! I hope this will be a discussion page so we all learn from each other.

I appreciate your participation!!

This page is for those that have an interest in growing Staghorn ferns in areas of the world when they don’t grow naturally. For those that have to work a lot harder to maintain your Staghorn Fern.

I hope we will be able to give out a lot of good positive information and not get into the different controversial areas that are plaguing some of the other sites

So welcome everyone I hope everybody will participate !!
