Dear Friends,
Thank you for your patience during this long and terrible winter. The unrelenting extreme cold and orchid show season caused longer delays in shipping than I have ever experienced. In December I traveled to Virginia earlier than expected because my mom had pneumonia. She made a speedy and full recovery having caught it quickly. She was in perfect health when she had a devastating stroke February 10 while I was in Tulsa. I flew home to Virginia, and my sister and I were with her when she passed near midnight February 11.
Words cannot express how hard this has been. I am finally back in Michigan, and I am struggling to get back up to speed with everything. Fortunately the weather has begun to cooperate, so I have begun shipping again. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Many of you have reached out to express your sympathy and support, and that means a lot.
