Neff Trucking & Contracting is a small family-owned business looking for an experienced Class A Dump Truck Driver to join our team. We offer local work with nice equipment and you are home daily. This position can be part-time or full-time with opportunities for overtime.

The driver is responsible for the safe and technically proficient operation of equipment to and from a job site. Haul a variety of materials including asphalt, gravel, and aggregate.

Required Experience

· Previous experience is preferred but willing to train

· Able to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions that are sometimes tight

· Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures.

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues

· Occasionally perform preventative maintenance

· Responsible for complete before and after trip safety checks, including truck equipment and supplies per CDL pre-trip guidelines.

· Maintain a positive relationship with all employees.

· Maintain logs of working hours

Qualifications

· Must have and maintain a DOT physical, pass pre-employment drug screening per MDOT regulations.

· Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.

· Previous experience is preferred but willing to train

· Strong work ethic

Pay is based on experience
