Absolutely. Ground beef creates a richer, more burger-like crust.

What's the best cheese?

Mozzarella melts beautifully, while Parmesan adds extra flavor and helps firm the crust.

Can I make it dairy-free?

Yes. Use only meat and egg for the crust and skip the cheese, though the texture will be different.

How do I keep the crust from getting soggy?

Bake the crust completely before adding toppings and drain excess fat if necessary.

Can I meal prep it?

Yes. Store slices in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and reheat in an oven or air fryer.
