Started and prepared for the storms that we need! Hard to work in the mud, so a little prep work makes for a job well done!

15+ years of neglecting taking off the fly wheel! Lol…. The motor still runs strong (every oil seal has been replaced) may last another 1,000 hrs now that I have spent 7 hours cleaning the top out. Kohler engines are true pride and a motor that will run 20 years or more and this one is now my back up!

Here’s your comment “Those blades are garbage”!

There’s a lot to say about these blades…

They have been thru last season and this spring. Last year I re-welded the tips after spring and fall clean-ups.. They went thru 35 clean-ups after I re-welded and I must say that is an impressive picture when I think of how much s**t these blades destroy and still held up! Most likely found something metal with those dents!! I will re-weld the dented edge and add some welds to the wings for wearing as they are wearing thin. Also cool to see the wing that is thickest was the farthest away from the discharge/vac.

New set of blades =$130.00 or more + Gas

Welding/expenses =$10.00

I used to buy new blades every year and spend hundreds on summer blades and gators. Now I spend maybe $30 a year doing repairs and still equals almost the same amount of time as compared to driving to supplier and making sure the new blades have a perfect edge.
