Most dock repairs we do started as something small that nobody caught.

DockGuard is our dock maintenance membership. We inspect your dock on a schedule, walk every float, weld, cable and board, photograph what we find, and send you a report with anything that needs attention before it turns into a big job. Boat lift inspections can be added on.

Fresh off the water: a 12'x16' swim platform added to an existing dock.

- 12" galvanized steel box truss frame, built in our shop
- Concrete paver decking
- Composite fascia
- Encapsulated floats, with flotation figured for an 8" step-down from the main dock
- 6-step swim ladder
- Swapped the old roof posts on the main dock for gusseted posts while we were there

Pavers stay cooler than wood, they don't splinter, and a heavy steel frame doesn't flex under them. This one's built to take a lot of summers.

Build your own dock. We'll build the hard part.

Our galvanized steel dock kits are now on our website, so you can buy a complete Blue Ridge dock and put it in yourself.

Each kit is built on the same 12" galvanized steel box truss frames we weld in our Marion shop for every dock our crew installs. Decking and fascia go on at the shop before the kit leaves, so the slow work is already done when it reaches your shoreline.

Every kit comes with:
- Galvanized steel frames and all frame-to-frame bolt hardware
- Your choice of concrete pavers, composite or treated wood decking, installed and trimmed
- Encapsulated floats and float hardware
- Galvanized gangway with handrails
- Mudpole anchors
- Blueprints that walk you through the install

Platform kits: 8'x8' up to 20'x20', a good fit for ponds, fishing and swim docks
10'x24' slip kits: with a metal roof or without

Pick it up free at our Marion shop, have us deliver it locally, or get a freight quote for farther out. You can pay over time at checkout, and every frame we build comes with a 5-year structural warranty.
