She was orphaned as a teenager, and forced to drop out of high school due to lack of tuition. Without a high school diploma, the only work open to her was in a factory, 12 hours a day, 29 days out of 30 every month for subsistence wages. Working for My Chinese Home Kitchen has enabled h

er to enroll in New Oriental Cooking School in Anhui, where she is studying to be a professional Chinese chef. In addition to saving for school, Jing is learning photography, and writing for the internet and search engine optimization. She has also learned to work independently, and basic project management skills. Thus, though this project, she is gaining work experience that will increase her lifetime earning potential considerably. Glenn Emerson is from the United States. After meeting Jing in social media chat during COVID lockdowns, he became friends with her. Glenn organized CYGE Group so as to legally hire Jing as a contractor under China law. Nearly doubling her wage over her factory days has enabled Jing to save for cooking school. She will begin school in the fall of 2021. CYGE Group, LLC is a privately funded Texas corporation.
