We made from scratch!!!!! 🇵🇪 For me this is advanced cooking. All day preparing. I'm not a cook and I don't enjoy cooking, but spending time with family preparing food is priceless. Tamales is not easy to make and to me nothing in the kitchen is other than boiling eggs, but it was fun We made more than what I thought of making. Good try and for the next round- I'm sure that we will then become pros.

It was quietly resting and hiding from me, but nature found it. I don't mind sharing my tomatoes, but the hornworm is definitely not my favorite.🤮It's soo gross!
Believe or not., when I started growing my garden a few years back, I found one of these on a tomato plant and I didn't know what it was. 🤦‍♀️ I was new to gardening and thought "aww, look how cute" 🐛 I took pictures. I made a post of it, and I left it ALIVE! 🤦‍♀️ A few of my tomatoes were destroyed, but I had no clue that this little creature was actually destroying what I had put so much work on. I didn't connect one thing to the other. Until I found out and what a surprise! 🤯
now I know- NOW I'll feed it to the Birds!

what a busy morning. Not only did I find a hornworm but i also found a right in front of house.
please if you find these KILL them- they are a threat to trees, crops and should not spread. Report them to your local

I can't explain the beautiful mess I found in my garden today. I'm going to sweat, cry, loose a few pounds but most of all, I'm ready to enjoy it. I'm so due for this. So late on getting this done but better late than never.
🥔 is it even time to plant these??? These have been on my counter for days, months, a year(?)
I don't even know, but they are going in today!!!

Harvested the last ones on the plant and before they go bad they go in the jar. Dehydrated of course.

Yellow Like the Sun

Why are these cucumbers yellow? The plant is the same as my other ones.
I’ve read that the cucumber might be ripe or lack of nutrients but these taste as delicious as my other cucumbers. Not sure why but we are eating whatever we get.

Oregano- one of my favorite herbs.
Always in my garden and always in my food.
Love the smell and the plant is so easy to grow too.
Easy to dry and store for later use.
How else do you use oregano?
Let me know and share your thoughts.

Home made dehydrated mangoes 🥭 with cayenne pepper powder.
Took a long time but the flavor is good, so fresh and no sugar added.
Next time I’ll add the cayenne pepper at the end- it’s not spicy at all but still good. Totally recommend to dehydrate your own
