With the deep snow forecasted for tonight be sure to be mindful of your air intake and vent pipes on your heating equipment drifting snow could block them. Mobile home residents may need to clear snow from their chimney the chimney base is also an air intake. Please don’t climb on your roof with snow on it a garden hose can easily melt the snow around the roof vent.

With the up coming cold weather be sure to check and clean or replace your air filter. Which the upcoming temperatures at or below 0 don’t be surprised if your house looses a few degrees for a few hours your heating system may not shut off. Open cabinets under sinks be cautioned leaving faucets drip or run can cause drains to freeze. Be mindful if your using any space heaters and follow manufacturers recommendations one keeping them away from furnishings and draperies. Stay safe keep warm.

We have not installed any effected thermostats but it’s always good to pass along safely recalls

Consumers should immediately check their Sensi thermostat to determine if “Emerson” is printed on the front with a date code from 1416 to 1536 on the back. Contact the firm to determine if the unit is included in the recall and for instructions on repair and/or replacement.
